"Jewels of the Rincon de la Vieja"
A hike of 30 minutes through the tropical forest, passing by the beautiful waterfall until you reach the thermal waters.
AZUFRADA, TOBOGÁN & SALITRAL
It is horseback riding tour (2 ½ hours) or a walking tour (3-4 hours) within the forest with green spaces in the volcano’s foothills. You see birds and animals, you go by a sulfur mine, a small water slide of natural water with a pool, where you can take a dip, and the spectacular fall of water on rocks in the Salitral Waterfalls.

In the surroundings of the ecolodge, a variety of birds enchant with their feathers and melodies. The tour incorporates hanging bridges and trails. (From 1 to 2 hours).

They are part of the Guanacaste Conservation Area (ACG), Patrimony Site of Humanity (UNESCO). It is a biogeographical block than represents approximately 2% of the country and 13% of Guanacaste. It has approximately 335.000 species of land organisms, which is equivalent to 2.6% of the world’s biodiversity; here there are more land species that all the species together of the north of Mexico, United States and Canada.
